Nathan Davis has been selected to be editor-in-chief of The Signpost for the 2012-13 school year, and is acting as editor-in-chief for the remainder of this year following the departure of Spencer Garn.
Garn resigned as editor-in-chief following a conflict of interest, resulting from his decision to run for a position as a Weber State University student senator.
“We are extremely excited to have Nathan lead our office at this time, and come in early to share his ideas and his expertise,” said Shane Farver, faculty adviser for The Signpost. “He’s been a part of The Signpost for some time now, and I think Nathan has a solid vision for the future of The Signpost becoming a 21st-century news organization.”
Davis has previously held the positions of sports editor and assistant sports editor for The Signpost.
