Dwight Howard to sign with the Houston Rockets

In NBA news, after hearing proposals from five NBA teams, Dwight Howard, the most sought-after free agent of 2013, has decided to sign with the Houston Rockets. The deal will most likely be a maximum four-year $88 million contract. Howard ultimately had to decide between the Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers, who he played for this last season. The Lakers were prepared to offer Howard a five-year $118 million contract, but Howard ultimately decided his best chance to win a championship is with the Rockets. The deal is expected to be finalized tomorrow.
