Weber State Wildcats,

It seems to be that time again . . . time to trade in the swimming suits and suntan lotion for textbooks and homework. For me, it is as sad as it is exciting, but the end of summer starts a brand-new year at Weber State University! Let me be the first to welcome you back to campus and wish you the best during the 2013-14 academic year.

My name is David Wilson, and I am your student body president. I will be serving you alongside many other amazing student leaders that have been elected and appointed to represent the student body. In the beginning of the summer we were challenged to create our theme for the year. The first thing our executive team decided was that we want this year to be all about the students. All about YOU! We want to make sure that you are getting the experience you want out of your time here at Weber State. The challenge that was given to us led us to create the theme WS(YOU). Because let’s face it, there is no Weber State without YOU!

I want each of you to be able to look back on this year and remember it as one of the best you have ever had. I promise to represent you and your needs wherever I go, and work my hardest to deliver events that provide you with memories and opportunities for the rest of your life.
