It’s that time of year again.  The weather is getting colder, which means snow is about to hit Utah. It’s the perfect time to hit the slopes, but there’s a problem: you don’t have all the gear to tear up the resorts.  Don’t worry, the Outdoor Program provides all the gear and equipment you could possibly need for all your winter activities.  What’s even better is the Outdoor Program has a variety of products to choose from and the rentals won’t burn a hole in your wallet.  The Outdoor Program offers the Alpine Ski Package, which includes boots, poles and skis for only $14 for students and $21 for the public.  Another package offered is the Telemark Ski Package which also includes boots, poles and skis and is just $33 for students and $40 for the public.  If you are looking to go cross-country skiing, the Outdoor Program offers a package of $7 for students and $10 for the public. On top of this, the Outdoor Program offers discounted lift tickets to Snowbasin and Powder Mountain.  Discounted vouchers are good all season long and can be purchased at any time.  They offer an adult day-ticket to Powder Mountain for $55, and the mid-day tickets on Tuesdays and Thursdays for only $40. An adult day ticket to Snowbasin is only $74. You can snowboard on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Wolf Mountain for only $20. When you visit the Outdoor Program, located in Annex 9 across from the tennis courts, be sure to check out the upcoming Bloomington Canyon Yurt trip, which is open for registration on November 3rd.
