I was invited by the president of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) to participate in and photograph the Taylorsville Veterans Day parade. I was honored to be a part of honoring American Veterans. There were a lot of old cars that looked shiny and new. I met a lot of people with incredible stories, but many didn’t want to share their experiences. However, I did hear bits and pieces of stories from other people bragging about their friends. Veterans are fiercely loyal to their fellow service members, and willing to go to great lengths to help out a friend. Thank you to all veterans for serving this country!
