Ogden says hello to autumn

This Saturday, Ogden celebrates the 14th annual Harvest Moon Festival.

This festival is Ogden’s way of ending another summer. Every year it takes place on the Historic 25th Street, opening with Ogden’s Farmer Market.

According to the event’s Facebook page, local businesses will come out and spotlight what they have to offer the community. There will be a beer garden for those old enough to drink. Kids can be entertained for hours by the many venues at the event.

Food will be provided from local vendors to sample. Local entertainment will perform to show all that Northern Utah has to offer.

The Harvest Moon Festival’s Facebook page says that it is one of the biggest festivals that happens in Utah each year. This year one of the sponsors, NUHOPE, has put together a walk for suicide prevention that begins with registration at 9 a.m.

Events begin at 8 a.m. For more information visit their Facebook page or www.historic25.com.
