Women’s basketball will also play these teams but on their home turf with only one home game against Westminister Dec. 29 at 7 pm.

Finally, the Women’s Cross Country team will be holding the Weber indoor invitational this weekend at home at the Wildcat Sports Complex.

Men’s basketball to take on BYU

The Cougars and the Wildcats will face off this Saturday Dec. 5 at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City.

The Wildcats are coming off of a high note for their season after claiming the Gulf Coast Showcase tournament championship. The showcase took place in the final week of November where Weber went four for four in all their games. The tournament title was Weber State’s first preseason tournament championship since winning the Big Island Invitational in 2001.

The BYU Cougars are currently sitting at a season record of 4-1, and will play the University of Utah on Dec. 2 prior to their match-up against WSU. Tip-off for the game is at 1 pm.

Weber Hockey Finished Winter Season.

The WSU men’s Hockey team will finish their fall season as they host Boise State University on Saturday Dec. 5.

The team is coming off of a good performance in Beehive Tournament, where they saw their most recent winning streak fall at 14 games to the Arizona State University Maroon team. The game is scheduled to start at 2 pm at the Ogden Ice Sheet.

Before school starts back up for the spring semester, the team will return to the ice to begin the spring portion of their season, with the first two home matches of their schedule taking place on Jan. 7 and 9 as the team will face off against the Arizona State University Elite Hockey team. The matches will start at 7:30 pm at the Ogden Ice Sheet.
