Meth inbound

A Weber State University police officer responded to a drug violation at the Alumni Center on May 24. The individual was seen in a stairwell stripping wires and was suspected of using drugs. Upon search of the individual, meth and drug paraphernalia were found. The individual was removed from WSU and released with a citation.

WSU officers responded to a suspicious person in the W5 parking lot on June 1. A male walked down the staircase westbound on the south of the Shepherd Union. The male said he was under the influence of meth from the previous day and had an arrest warrant. Officers received consent to search his bag and found nothing drug related. Officers asked if he needed medical attention and the individual said no.

Breaking and entering

At 10:48 p.m. on May 23, two unidentified males pulled up to the Stewart Stadium and tried to access the building. The two males gained access to the football field, a neighboring ambulance at Marriott Health and buses located in the W4 lot on campus. It is unknown if any items were taken or damaged. The individuals then left.

Sexual Assault

A WSU police officer responded by phone to a suspicious circumstance at WSU Village Community Center on May 17. A male suspect forcibly grabbed the buttocks of a victim as they were parting ways. The suspect was unknown to the victim. The victim declined to press charges and was directed to a Safe@Weber advocate.
