Ogden’s Historical 25th Street was momentarily interrupted on Friday night as Weber State students gathered for the annual “Wildcat Walk” in honor of Homecoming Week.
At approximately 6:15pm, the Weber State Marching Band initiated the walk from Union Station to the Ogden Amphitheater.
Directly following the band, the cheer squad, dance team and football players made an appearance in hopes to spread purple fever to the Weber State students and fans participating in the walk.
As the band and students were approaching the Ogden Amphitheater, fans cheered as Waldo danced and sang Weber State’s fight song, and the cheer squad and dance team gave one last performance to conclude the festivities.
