The next lecture in the American Democracy Project’s “Dirty Word” series will be held today at 11:30 a.m. in the Shepherd Union Room 404.
Brad Mortensen, WSU’s vice president of University Advancement and our lobbyist, will speak on the dirty word “lobbyist,” and what it means in our culture.
The “Dirty Word” lecture series, which is co-sponsored by the Olene S. Walker Institute of Politics and Public Service, aims to break negative stereotypes surrounding dirty words, such as the “F” word (federal government) and the “B” word (bureaucrat).
The lecture is free and open to the public.
